            Essential Job Functions

         Formulate and maintain the QIP for Pant Operations.

         Measure delivered quality and warranty performance and ensure proper actions are taking place to prevent reoccurrence.

         Analyze current products and processes and implement actions to prevent non-conformance. 
Recommend product and process changes to eliminate waste.

         Directly supervise a staff of 6 technicians and 2 engineers

         Lead activities related to maintenance and continuous improvement of the ISO 9001 system

         Perform all standard work as defined by the Company Lean Business System

 

            SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages Service Department, Quality Engineers and Technicians.  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  (Technical) Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or, two to four years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Five years experience preferably in an inspection/quality environment.  Needs two or more years demonstrable Lean/Kaizen/Six Sigma experience.  Needs experience in progressive TQM tools and systems including, but not limited to, Control Plans, Supplier Reliability, Quality Containment, Root Cause Analysis, and Design of Experiments.
