About our Client

My client is a market leader in the Food and Beverage industry with an impressive range of products which are enjoyed by consumers all over the world. They exhibit a mentality of continuous improvement and as such are looking for a QA officer to join their team.

Job Description

This role will require you to:

• Review product specifications
• Assist in the developing process control specifications
• Lab work both microbiological and chemical
• Conduct inspections upon receival of product, throughout process and at load out.
• Explain food, safety and quality requirements to staff and assist in developing a quality aware culture within the wider company.

The Successful Applicant

You will ideally possess:

• Relevant qualifications or Industry experience in a QA/QC function.
• Basic understanding and exposure HACCP, AUSMEATS and AQIS
• Basic Lab (microbiological/chemical) skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work both in a team environment and autonomously.
