Quality Assurance Representative Job in Omaha, Nebraska Us

United American Insurance Company is seeking outgoing people and friendly voices!  We have great part-time opportunities available at our outbound call center in McKinney, TX located in Stonebridge Ranch. There is no cold calling and no sales.  We offer flexible schedules, working 18 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm; 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm and/or Monday – Thursday and a business casual dress work environment.  Schedule may consist of a combination of the above hours.

 

It is the responsibility of the Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) to conduct outbound calls and take appropriate action with each. The QAR will interact with potential, current, and future customers and thoroughly document the interaction using appropriate resources while maintaining proper adherence to the procedures and policies of this department. 

 

Primary duties responsibilities consist of:

Daily

·         Maneuver within the Quality Assurance database and conduct appropriate assessments on what additional information or verification is needed

·         Make outbound calls to potential customers – verify and document required information to finalize applications for underwriting assessment

·         Properly document non-contact attempts within the Quality Assurance Database

·         Be able to properly explain the application process to potential customers

·         Accurately and thoroughly complete additional paperwork when needed

·         Maintain appropriate levels of communication with supervision regarding actions taken within the Quality Assurance database

·         Transfer calls to appropriate department as needed

·         Successfully meet the minimum expectation for departmental key performance indicators (K.P.I’s)

 

Occasional

·         Be enlisted in special projects that encompass making numerous outbound calls, recording activities requested by/from customers, etc.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

·         Communicate well both orally and through written communication

·         Proficient use of the computer with an emphasis in basic Microsoft Excel.

·         Demonstrated math aptitude

·         Ability to multi-task using many different sources

·         Have some knowledge of medical terminology and spelling

·         Be customer “friendly”

·         Ability to work under pressure

·         Excellent organization and time management skills

·         Must be detail-oriented with the ability to analyze information and make logical conclusions.

·         Have a desire to learn and increase marketability

 

Education Work Experience:

·         High School diploma or equivalent

·         1+ years of work experience in a high volume contact center environment and/or customer service experience

 

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: Heavy phone and PC usage, sitting for extended periods of time.  We provide comprehensive training at the starting rate of $11.25 per hour.  After the training period you will go to a piece rate.  Our top performers are making at least $15 per hour!
