Quality Assurance / Technical Manager
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £55,000pa + Benefits
Our client is the UK's leading home and general merchandise retailer with sales of almost £6bn in the last financial year.
Due to continued business development our client is currently seeking a Quality assurance technical manager to be located in Milton Keynes.
The purpose of this role is effectively manage a small team to ensure that in accordance with the companies due diligence policy and agreed Quality Assurance objectives; Technical Standards are considered and effectively employed across all products selected into the product ranges. To ensure products are safe, fit for their intended purpose, and are of satisfactory quality. To initiate and develop new ideas that will effectively contribute to measured and continuous product quality across specified ranges. To provide technical and operational coaching guidance to Q.A. Technologists and Technical Assistants to ensure that their respective job competencies and skills are developed to their maximum effective potential.
Key Skills / Previous Experience required include:
- In depth knowledge of ISO 9000 quality standards
- 3 years + experience in quality capacity (retail preferred)
- Experience in direct sourcing of products.
- Good analytical skills / PC literate.
- Excellent communication key skills.
