Primary duties/functions: Process customer orders for direct shipment from vendor location Entry QC shipping information into data base Create proper certification for orders (FAA form 8130-3 Certificate of Conformance) Conduct source and first article inspections at vendor location Responsibilities: 1) Purchase order review: 2) Determine proper level of certification 3) Entry shipping data into ORACLE data base 4) Create certification in ORACLE 5) Provide part drawing from KONFIG data base 6) Provide ODA Unit Member support 7) Sign and present for shipment all certificate of conformance orders 8) Communicate daily with Bothell QC 9) Perform source inspection as required at vendor location 10) Perform first article inspection on first run product at vendor location QualificationsQualifications AA degree in electrical field or equivalent experience. 10 + years manufacturing or quality experience. 5+ years in Quality Assurance. Possess a solid understanding of AS9100 and ISO14000 standards and the Panasonic Quality System. Strong background and understanding of Airframe OEM and Airline and FAA requirements for Aircraft Interior Structures (i.e. monuments and associated product); and the knowledge of inspection techniques; use of measuring equipment, such as scales, calipers, micrometers, hand tools; and electrical equipment such as power meters, oscilloscopes, and fiber optic testers. Ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics. Strong communication skills, in English, both written and verbally, in person and on the phone. Ability to take instructions and communicate instructions as needed. Highly organized, possess good interdepartmental skills (a team player), and the ability to understand customer correspondence and repair/purchase order information. High ability to solve problems and independently resolve issues, which may arise in the day to day work environment. Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks. Works independently with minimal supervision. Normally follows established procedures on routine work and requires instructions only on new assignments. Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice. Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks. Position requires ability to lift, push or pull boxes or carts ranging from 5 to 50 Lbs on a daily basis Computer Typing, 50% sitting, 15% walking, 15% standing, 10% bending/stooping, 10% twisting. Some travel required, up to 5% to both domestic and international locations.
