Quality Control Inspector

A progressive machine shop located in Houston with a proven history of manufacturing reliable, quality products is looking for a Quality Control Inspector with inspection experience in a manufacturing facility.

 

Job Description:

·         Perform 1st article, in-process and final inspections

·         Verify product conformance through use of inspection tools and gauges

·         Document inspection results by completing reports

·         Calibrate gages

·        Initiate non-conformance reports on parts that do not adhere to drawing specifications.

·       Perform various quality activities as assigned by the QA Engineer/Manager

·         Assist in maintaining the QMS and performing internal audits.

 Job Requirements:

·         3 years minimum experience as a Quality Control inspector in a manufacturing environment

·         Ability to interpret drawings, notes, GDT, tolerances and symbols.

·         Basic computer skills for reporting purposes (Microsoft Office Excel)

·         Must be willing to learn new technologies and techniques, multi-task and pay attention to detail.

·         Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when needed
