Quality Control Inspector
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for supporting Novocure's quality inspection activities in the Portsmouth, NH facility reporting to the US Quality Manager. This includes conducting incoming, in-process and final inspection acceptance activities as needed. Acceptance activities include, mechanical and electrical testing as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect incoming, in-process, finished products for conformance to standards.
Initiate and participate in resolution of non-conforming materials.
Responsible for final product release sign-off.
Trend incoming, in-process and final inspection data.
Assist in shipping and receiving as needed.
Qualifications:
HS Diploma
2 plus years of Quality Control Inspection experience in a FDA regulated environment is preferred - with QSR (21 CFR Part 820) experience if possible.
Experience performing quality inspections within a FDA regulated environment desirable.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of durable medical equipment highly desirable.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Must have good written and oral communication skills.
Must be able to work in a team environment, execute responsibilities with minimal direct supervision and have a high attention to detail.
Knowledge of FDA and ISO standards for Medical Devices is a plus.
Ability to multi-task, perform efficiently and independently.
