Quality Control Manager

Serves as over-all contract Quality Control Manager. Develop and implement overall quality strategy and program; Manages and leads the Quality Control Program to ensure continuous service delivery that is consistent and in compliance with the established performance standards . Responsible for administering the Total Quality Control program including supervising all activities related to quality control management including scheduling, coordinating and planning. Develop standardized testing methods that facilitate the quality checking process based on contract requirements/standards; Develop and implement analyses processes and independently evaluate contract performance against requirements. Prepare reports of the results of quality analyses present results to the Project Manager with recommended actions to correct any deficiencies to ensure all standards are continually being met; reports directly to the appropriate corporate Program Director; interacts with the customer verbally and in writing on matters of concern and performance deficiencies; presents plans for corrective action. Job Requirements: The applicant must be a graduate engineer, graduate architect, or a graduate of construction management, with a minimum of 5 years construction experience in quality control. Must have current USACE CQCM certification. Must have effective written/oral communications and interpersonal skills. Must maintain abreast of the latest technology and recommend tools and processes to increase efficiencies. Must be able solve quality related problems. Must possess sound knowledge of QC function within the organization. Must possess good organizational and planning skills. Must be detail oriented. This position is a full time, long term hire.
