Quality Control Manager Job in Spokane 99011, Washington US

JOB SUMMARY:  Seeking Experienced Quality Control Managers and/or Quality Control Supervisors on Federal Projects.  This position will require specific past performance and references as an approved QC manager/supervisor on one or more Federal Contracts.  Several positions open ranging from single project QC manager onsite, to Corporate QC Manager overseeing multiple QC Managers across broad geographic area.

 

This position has overall responsibility for reporting directly to Corporate Management and the Client  and verification that we meet all quality standards on our projects.  The Quality Control Manager plans, coordinates, and oversees implementation of DPS’s quality control and quality assurance programs.  This position also reviews and amends DPS’s corporate Quality Plan to keep it current and to ensure compliance in all respects with established standards, methods and specifications.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Depending on size, complexity and number of simultaneously jobs, this position supervises project Quality Control Supervisors and Quality Control Inspectors.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

To successfully perform this job, this position must perform all duties and responsibilities accurately and satisfactorily while complying with specific deadlines.  The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to satisfactorily perform this job.

 EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• College degree in Engineering, preferred.
• Minimum 10 years supervisory with Construction Management and experience as Quality Control Manager.
• Must have MINIMUM of 5 years experience of construction management-preferably in the federal arena
• Must have USACE/RMS Experience.
• Ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance
• USACE Quality Control Certification.

COMPUTER SKILLS

•Must have working knowledge of computers and strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows XP, P3/6, RMS QCS software applications.

 

REASONING ABILITY

•Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

•Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

•Strong ability to reason with client’s corporate quality assurance personnel and technical experts, and field quality assurance, technical authorities and construction supervisory representatives.
