Our client, located in the Northern suburbs, is looking for an experienced Quality Control Officer to join their team. You will be required to liaise with Branch Management Buyers to ensure effective prompt communication of quality / food safety issues along with maintaining the quality of incoming stock according to branch safety program customer qualities.

The successful applicant will posses the following skills/attributes:

• Able to commit to Night Shift Hrs
• Produce experience desirable but not essential
• complete the checking receipt of stock according to HA 11-02 HA11-03a documents, and according to IBS requirements.
• Assist Branch QA Co-ordinator int he maintenance of the branch Approved Supplier Program.
• Assist co-ordinate State Buyers in Maintaining Variance To Specification procedure HA11-11
• Assist Branch QA Co-ordinator, as requested in daily tasks ensuring the branch Food Safety is upheld.
• Effectively maintain all Quarantine processes, corrective actions goods returned activity.

Experience, Knowledge Skills

• Minimum 6 months experience in quality assessment at a produce handling facility.
• National recognised Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel word.
