We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Technician in Marysville, MI. Requirements and Duties: - Perform physical testing of new paper, improved paper and competitor products. - Collect data in lab notebooks; input data in desktop, networked computers and issue reports. - May also work on special projects on occasion. - All testing will be conducted on paper. - Key test equipment includes: Instron testers for adhesion, tensile and elongation tests; shear banks tests and calipers for thickness measurements; and a scale for weight checks (this is about 80-90% of the testing). - Some wet chemistry techniques could be applied. - Education: AS or BS in science (Biochemistry/Chemistry/Biology).
