Quality Controller Job in Peterborough, Anglia UK
I am currently seeking a quality controller for a well known food manufacturers in Cambridgeshire.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
*To inspect incoming raw materials in accordance with my clients colour coding system and set quality control procedures. This requires lifting 15kg boxes to inspect the product on the pallet.
*To supply quality inspection reports of all incoming raw material to supply base and procurement team through my clients reporting system.
*Ensure any serious quality issues found are reported to QA manager/technical manager at the earliest possible stage.
*Monitor on line packaging, both finished product and class 2 grade out and assisting service provider as and when required.
*Perform routine internal analysis i.e. sugar/acid ratios, juice content tests, recording information on internal database.
*Monitor and manage the quality of the produce in storage through stock re-evaluations.
*To inspect and supervise the dispatch of product to customers.
*To inspect the quality, labelling and product integrity prior to dispatch to the customer i.e. QA out loading/positive release. All to be conducted within set procedures and protocols.
*To monitor stock rotation and allocations. . Reporting any issues to operations.
*To collect samples both for customer and testing. Ensuring product meets requirements for set samples.
*To carry out any other requirements within the role as and when instructed by Technical/Quality assurance management.
You must have experience in a quality assurance role, with a knowledge of quality control procedures and experience within a production environment. You must contain the following skills:

You must be flexible within working hours:
4 days on 3 days off. - x3 12 hour shifts x1 9 hour shift.
