A Quality Data Abstractor must have an LPN or have RN License; strong attention to detail; knowledge of Core Measure Sets and Components used in Quality Improvement Reviews; proficient with Microsoft Office; the ability to collaborate with multi-clinical disciplines, to work within tight deadlines and juggle multiple priorities, and to travel between Inova facilities. Core Measures data abstraction training, CPHQ, and the ability to train others on Core Measure Requirements are preferred. Job Education Requirements : 2-5 years of solid, professional clinical experience in health care quality, patient care, or case management within a hospital or clinical setting to include experience and/knowledge with JCAHO, CMS requirements and Core Measurement components. Preferred: 3-5 years professional experience in health care quality, patient care, or case management to include direct experience in Core Measurement data collection/abstraction and analysis. Nursing or Other Clinical Degree. Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related field preferred.
