Quality Engineer
We are looking for a Quality Engineer who is highly motivated, self-driven, and has exceptional organizational skills. The candidate is expected to provide responsibility for the quality processes in full compliance with internal and external standards. The task is to establish, maintain and optimize an effective issue resolution process to support the development team and ensure product quality.
Essential Job Functions
-Research existing quality/testing specifications for eMotor development.
-Cross-reference existing ICE systems with planned eMotor development systems.
-Communicates customer, regulatory and organizational requirements to assure product quality and customer satisfaction.
-Maintains an issue resolution system to analyze non-conforming conditions and complaints during product validation, determines the root-cause and follows up with responsible engineers.
-Updates DFMEA in accordance to results from testing and validation.
-Serves as interface between development engineers and platform customers during the issue resolution process.
-Facilitates and structures DVPR Process.
-Provides project teams with the required tools and methods to achieve superior results in design to quality and robustness.
-Oversees the effective documentation and implementation of the quality management system to assure compliance with regulatory requirements and the standards set by corporate policies (MDS, MQS, RGI Reporting, 4Q Charts).
Minimum Requirements
-B.S. Degree in an Engineering or related discipline.
-3 years of Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality Engineering, or related experience.
-Experience with quality improvement tools and techniques (i.e., DFSS, Six Sigma, Fault Tree Analysis, FMEA, QFD, Shainin, etc.).
-Sound knowledge of statistical methods
-Experience with software for statistical data analysis (Excel/Minitab)
-Problem Solving Skills.
-Must Speak German
