Position Overview:
Collect, assess and report on technical data in support of engineering production needs. Develop measurement data and report on project assignments. Perform investigations, follow up on corrective actions. Assure compliance to internal and customer requirements. Implement preventive actions to improve quality and manufacturing systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Develop and follow quality systems and procedures to assure high quality products are produced which meet customer requirements
* Perform Continuous Improvement Activities within the facility
* Perform Internal process product audits as a member of the internal audit team
* Provide support regarding technical and process related questions
* Initiate and follow up on Corrective Actions
* Identify and implement Preventive Actions
* Facilitate external audit activities
* Perform training
* Lead special project teams to implement process improvements.
* Must adhere to all EH S regulations and policies as well as attend required training courses related to EH S
* Follow the EH S roles and responsibilities in accordance with the Cargo Policy MP5322
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline
2-4 years related work experience in a manufacturing environment
Understands Lean Principles
Good Communication Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
Familiar with metrology processes
