Quality Engineer Job in Ligonier 46767, Indiana US
Due to new business growth, Guardian Automotive Productions, Inc. located in Ligonier, IN is currently hiring a Quality Engineer. We are seeking an individual with a positive attitude who wants to learn, grow, and contribute to a successful team.
Job responsibilities include:
- Assist in the development of launch related timelines, gate books, and other customer specific launch related documentation.
- Primary interface for customer quality communications including corrective action responses.
- Complete all aspects of the PPAP process.
- Lead in development of production documentation including, Control Plan, DVPR, PFMEA, and Standardized Work.
- Monitor customer supplied warranty data and supplier PPAP files.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality or Engineering preferred.
- Minimum of four (4) years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with US OEM requirements required (specifically Ford and Chrysler) and European OEM requirements preferred.
- Excellent people skills are required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
- Self starter with a high degree of initiative and focus on completing projects in a timely manner with a high degree of quality.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
- Excellent MS Office skills including MS project timelines.
