Quality Engineer Job in Linthicum 21090, Maryland US
This position requires the individual to work cross-functionally to support efforts for the Quality Management System, Business Continuity Program/Disaster Recovery, and to ensure they are functioning properly. This includes activities associated with maintaining proper certification and registrations (e.g. ISO9001, TL9000), developing and improving the Systems, which includes business documents, audit planning, execution, reporting, and follow-ups. The Quality Engineer will support execution of tasks aimed at improving the QMS and BCP in conjunction with current business conditions. They will also monitor and advise on the performance of the QMS and BCP by producing data and report on performance, as needed. Participation in business process improvement projects is also expected in this position. And to support the objective of achieving business operating effectiveness while improving the customer experience.
Specific Responsibilities:
§ Support implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System, for continuous improvement of the business processes.
§ Support the directed efforts for compliance with required national and international standards, legislation, business continuity, environmental and health, and safety standards.
§ Participate cross-functionally to plan, formulate comprehensive quality and business procedures.
§ Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, reports, etc.
§ Participate in continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system.
§ Participate, develop, and deliver quality related training, as needed.
§ Support department Lead Engineers
