Develop process capability studies and gauge capability studies for the development and implementation of statistical process control plans. Champion modification of design and process requirements through interaction with Quality, Design, Product and Manufacturing engineering personnel. Provide an assessment of key characteristics and key processes for product line models.

Perform technical tasks such as product improvement studies and participate on Design-To-Cost teams. The use of analysis techniques such as SPC, complex statistics, capability studies, regression analysis and design of experiments will be required.

Train and educate functional groups in statistical concepts.

Establish and monitor Quality engineering project budgets and schedules.

Validate design problem solutions by performing capability studies and analyses.

Document statistical analyses of design and test results with accurate and concise reports.

Consult on new product design development efforts.

Assist in interviewing, training, and counseling subordinate Quality engineers.

When applicable supervise subordinate Quality engineers and technicians.
