A growing manufacturing company in San Antonio, TX is in need of a Quality Engineer.
The purpose of this position is to satisfy customer requirements by managing the quality of product according to customer, company, and ISO 9001:2008 ISO/TS 16949:2009 standards.

Qualifications:
· Must have a thorough knowledge of CMM programming with PC-DMIS software
· Must have extensive knowledge with GDT, ISO/TS 16949:2009 standards
· Must be ASQC Certified, CQE preferred but not required
· Must have a experience as a Quality Engineer in a machining environment preferably with engine blocks, pistons, crankshafts, heads or the like
· Prior experience managing a quality team
Responsibilities:
· Help in the Advanced Product Quality Planning process including advising teams and creating related documentation such as FMEA’s, Flowcharts and Control Plans
· Participate in or lead 8D and CIT teams
· Develop sampling procedures and forms or instruction for recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data
· Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process or customer related concerns
· Complies and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality activities
· Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions
· Assist in developing sampling procedures and forms or instruction for recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data
· May directly supervise employees in the Quality department
