Our customer a leader in agricultural manufacturing is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer.
Ideal candidate will need to be able to do the following:
Apply quality tools consistent with quality processes to focus on prevention.
Identify and perform risk management activities.
Investigate product and process quality related issues.
Recommend changes to control plans and/or prints.
Provide required data and analysis to support timely and accurate solutions to quality issues.
Use and promote Six Sigma methods and tools to facilitate resolution of recurring internal quality issues.
Perform quality audits.
Inputs and maintains information in factory databases and systems.
Assists in warranty claim information reviews, investigations, and corrective actions.
Follow activities with suppliers for supplier quality issues.
Present and manage daily production reporting for quality.
Requirements:
Applicants must have at least one year of experience in a quality engineering position. Working knowledge of standard quality tools such as FMEA (Failure Modes Effect Analysis), SPC (Statistical Process Control), and Root Cause Analysis. They will be familiar with product models, GDT, welding blue prints and assembly drawings. Experienced in the use of statistical tools/analysis and techniques for quality management. Working knowledge of the 8D nonconformaning corrective action process. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ideal candidates should:
Have trained in the Six Sigma methodology.
Used first pass yield, zero defects, or no fault forward in a prior work experience.
Performed processes and transactions using SAP QM.
Have excellent manufacturing problem solving skills.
Excellent personal skills working in an union environment and with manufacturing management.
