Quality Engineer Job in Toronto M9w5l9, Ontario Canada
Our client, a manufacturer of precision aircraft engine parts in the aerospace industry, is looking to hire a Quality Engineer.
Responsibilities:
*Identify manufacturing problems and perform root cause analysis with management, customers, suppliers, vendors, manufacturing and technical staff
*Responsible for continual improvement activities and lean methods, to improve quality processes and procedures
*Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions
*Support Quality Inspectors in order to ensure products and processes comply with the relevant quality management system requirements
*Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality standard procedure documents and QA related reports
Qualifications:
*Quality Engineering experience in the aerospace industry
*Degree in mechanical, manufacturing or process engineering
*Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
*AS 9100 experience
*Experience with statistical data analysis
*Experience in a custom machining environment is an asset
*Certified ISO9001 Auditor is an asset
