Quality Manager – Manufacturing in NW Ohio Job in Pioneer, Ohio US
A local northwest Ohio manufacturer of metal stampings, formed, and welded products is in search of a Quality Manager. The company supplies the appliance, automotive, industrial motor, heavy truck, solar energy and other industries. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of quality systems management, customer and supplier support, production FTQ and process improvement participation.
The successful Candidate will meet the following MINIMUM requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in mechanical engineering or related.
- 3+ years in project management in a manufacturing background that includes metal forming or metal processed components (stampings, fabrications, etc…)
- Demonstrated project management successes with experience in "cradle to grave" project implementation
- Solid experience with single hit, compound, transfer and progressive dies
- Solid experience with welded and mechanical assemblies.
- Ability to travel periodically to customers and suppliers
- ISO Lead Auditor
- Excellent customer relations skills including written and oral communication.
- Strong experience with APQP quality processes
- Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge and computer skills
- Ability to work with CAD information for strip, part, and assembly.
- GDT, SPC and relative process experience necessary.
