Quality Manager

 

Responsibilities:

Ø  Ensure and maintain Quality Programs including compliance with ISO requirements

Ø  Leads initiatives on quality system advancements, ensuring that quality assurance activities are directed towards process improvement, continuous improvement, cost effectiveness of processes, systems, and procedures and positive corrective actions

Ø      Troubleshooting operational concerns

Ø       Review documents (protocols, amendments, sample case report forms, etc) for quality and compliance with applicable regulations

Ø       Ensure that all instrumentation and equipment are properly calibrated and functioning

Ø       Act as principal liaison and audit leader for customer audits and visits customer sites to investigate product complaints, inquiries and product returns.

Ø       Mentor, supervise and train direct reports


Requirements:

Ø  Minimum of an Associate's degree; Bachelors Degree is a preferred.  Advanced degree and MBA a plus. 

Ø  3-5 years experience in an ISO / Lean Manufacturing environment. Most of which should be in a supervisory capacity.  Experience in Packaging, Films, Paper, and / or Printing a plus

Ø  Must have superior customer relations skills, be customer focused, a good presenter, and someone that is naturally seeking improvement

Ø  Basic knowledge of statistics and SPC is a preferred

Ø  Experience, exposure and / or training in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S is preferred
