We are looking for a Quality Manager to help us achieve our goals. This position, reports to the Aftermarket Services (AMS) Mechanical RO Quality Director. The Quality Assurance Manager position is responsible for driving strategic quality initiatives while working directly with internal/external customers and suppliers. The Quality Assurance Manager has the responsibility to identify opportunities and provide leadership to make quality a competitive advantage for both Honeywell AMS and its Customers. The position will be located at the Greer RO Facility. Responsibilities include: - Ensure Quality Management System is approved, understood and executed by associates in the RO OEM organization, with special emphasis on product and processes in accordance with FAA/EASA/CAAC, etc Part 145, FAR Part 21, AS9100 and/or any additional customer and regulatory requirements as necessary. - Accountable for implementing and proper execution of the internal and external audit program to measure the overall effectiveness of the quality management system. - Manage all aspects of Quality Assurance on-site as well as interface with manufacturing to ensure proper flow of information and data for continued through life product support - Manage the quality assurance team - Review contractual documents to ensure compliance to customer and regulatory requirements - Coordinate with customers, suppliers, RO product lines and OEM manufacturing to resolve quality related issues and lead root cause/corrective actions to prevent recurrence through eCats. - Identify and execute projects leading to standardization, simplifying and improving existing quality systems - Utilize enablers such as Honeywell Operating Systems (HOS), lean/six sigma and Digitalworks, to identify best practices and drive continuous quality improvement throughout the organization - Drive Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations to prevent defects - Support and understand Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) program and philosophy Success factors: - Ability to work in a matrix environment - Must be highly motivated and self directed and possess business/financial acumen - Must be customer focused and be a strategic thinker. Able to build and successfully facilitate cross-functional, cross-business, and global teams to deliver work products. - Must have ability to set strategic direction and manage resources required for implementation - Must have creativity, energy, dependability and organizational skills that will enable management of multiple priorities Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related field. - 10 years progressive experience in Aerospace or related technical field - Minimum of 7 years in leadership positions including people management Additional Qualifications: - Advanced degree (MBA) preferred - Greenbelt Certification required, Six Sigma Blackbelt Certification desirable - Must have broad knowledge of Honeywell policies, procedures, and processes, Federal Aviation Regulations (FAA Part 145 and/or 21)) and National Airworthiness Authority (NAA) Regulations (Chinese Authority -CAAC and European Authority - EASA desired) - Able to work think independently, meet tight deadlines, mobilize resources and determine key stakeholders quickly As an Equal Opportunity Employer, we are committed to a diverse workforce.
