Quality Manager
To be based in Bedford
Salary is circa £40k
A multi-national manufacturing company now require a forward thinking, hands on Quality Manager to join their team.
Job Role:
- To drive Continuous Improvements throughout manufacturing using yield data and Lean Manufacturing tools 5S,Six Sigma, as well as other modern manufacturing methods.
- Support the Manufacturing Management by developing and driving Engineering solutions to improve process Yields
- To represent AFB on all matters relating to Quality when liaising with Customers, Suppliers and other interested parties.
- To provide Quality support services to other AFB Departments and external parties.
- Improve reliability of product through the evaluation of product and process, analysis of
findings and corrective actions.
The ideal candidate will come from the Automotive Industry as a Quality Engineer looking to take the next step.
You will also have the following skills or experience:
- Lean Manufacturing or SixSigma
- APQP, PPAP, 8D or other problem solving quality tools.
