Personally Yours Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Quality Manager to guide the implementation of our new quality management system in a CNC manufacturing environment. In this role we expect candidate to manage all quality assurance activities and functions in support of company objectives, goals, and strategy. When quality assurance activities are performed by individual processes, owners procedures or processes shall be established that define the specific tasks and responsibilities that are authorized and the pertinent requirements and training necessary to perform those tasks.  The Quality Manager has the responsibility and authority to assure implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System and related procedures.

Responsibilities:

The Quality Manager has the authority and responsibility for ensuring compliance and effectiveness of the Quality Management System requirements including, but not limited to the following:

• Design product improvement programs and provide process method excellence throughout the organization,

• Coordinating quality activities with suppliers, as required, to support incoming product quality levels,

• Lead technical efforts in inventory control, manufacturing losses, and overall shop costs,

• Institutionalizing process focus and accountability through effective policies and procedures, including safety process, audit process and standardize work, at all levels, to ensure quality meets or exceeds customer requirements,

• Interface with design engineering, projects, assembly, and vendors to assure requirements are met on time meeting specifications,

• Provide the technical leadership on problem identification and resolution on all problems,

• Promoting the awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization,

• Using and integrating data to continuously improve the effectiveness of the Quality Management System, through customer feedback and specifications, quality system requirements, PFMEAs, process capability and critical to quality characteristics,

• Select, hire, train and provide ongoing leadership of assigned personnel to meet schedules, quality and measurement, and organizational goals,

• Direct and manage constant improvements activities related to quality including Six Sigma projects, kaizen events and other problem solving activities,

• Compile and report all organization measurements on quality and cost,

• Communication and enforcement of company policies,

• Knowledge and experience on ISO 9001, AS9100 and ISO 13485 regulations, requirements and audit procedures.

• Responsibility to support personnel and provide guidance related to performance,

• Familiar with manufacturing support systems (ERP/MRP/MES/Maintenance).

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college 

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality control systems and quality improvement methods for a manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of CNC machining, fabricating and assembly and test process

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States,
