Bachelors degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering,Business Management or related field preferred, or 10 years of equivalent aviation maintenance experience.

Good written communication skills; working knowledge of word processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-orientated work are required.

Position requires familiarity with and ability to stay current in applicable industry standards.

Jet engine experience required.

Military aviation/jet engine experience is a plus.

Position requires the ability to pass a NACI background check.

Must be able to pass a reading comprehension evaluation with a 70% or higher score.

Job Description:
Engine Regional Repair Center (ERRC) is an industrial environment overhauling aircraft jet engines with processes that encompass numerous hazards and a requirement for constant vigilance. Employee will use sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.

Procedure Compliance-Each employee must read, understand and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures and policies pertaining to his/her job.

Essential Responsibilities:

Conduct special evaluations, quality surveys, technical analysis and audits. Compile reports and findings of surveys and audits for company officials for review and make action recommendations as required.

Conduct accident and incident investigations. Complete and maintain required reporting and records.

Maintain current files of all technical documents, instructions, procedures and requirements necessary for implementation of an effective quality assurance program.

Manage the quality program to assure full compliance with the Service delivery Directives related to the engines and equipment we maintain. The SOW requires us to establish and maintain a formal compliance oriented QC program.

Maintain and improve current ISO 9001: 2008 registration while upgrading the quality program to AS9100 standard.

Perform an active role in the Unit Safety Program.

Develop and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures and documents needed to produce safe, ready to install aircraft jet engines.

Create, maintain and/or improve the Quality Assurance Plan.

Oversees a dedicated staff in contract requirement which include:
Deficiency Reporting
Maintenance of Master Technical Order Library
Technical Order improvement program
Oil Analysis Program
Accurate completion of engine mishap investigations.
Building custodian duties

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
