Ingersoll Rand Industrial Technologies provides products, services and solutions that enhance our customers' energy efficiency, productivity and operations. Our diverse and innovative products range from complete compressed air systems, tools and pumps to material and fluid handling systems. • Manages the operation of the Mocksville quality department
• Guides the development of the ISO 9000 compliance
• Manages first article inspection program
• Partners with Supplier Quality and Development to improve supply chain quality
• Leads and investigates corrective action of manufacturing and customer reported non-conformances.
• Mentors and Leads associates at varying levels within the organization.
• Partners with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering for reducing: product deficiency, rejected purchased material, manufacturing rework and repairs, and product warranty costs.
• Assumes responsibility for directing and supervising quality engineers, specialist, and technicians
• Analyzes and identifies basic causes for complaints and failures in the field and in the manufacturing process
• Provides leadership and mentoring for quality function within the site
• Conduct Safety/STOP Audits

Education Standard:BS Degree in Engineering or related field
Education Type:MS or MBA preferred

• Strong understanding of ISO processes.
• Skilled in blueprint reading.
• Experience in machining environment utilizing cast iron and steel processing equipment, 5-axis equipment and other metal forming/shaping equipment holding micron level tolerances.
• Extensive knowledge of GD T.
• Basic knowledge of parts and features which may be critical in application.
• Ability to establish supplier quality systems and corrective action processes resulting in operational improvements.
• Skilled and capable of selecting and using various measuring equipment.
• Knowledge of computer data system.
• Extensive Leadership of quality organizations
• Ability to make timely decisions and apply sound judgment
• Ability to organize tasks and manage time to complete multiple assignments simultaneously
• Ability to communicate at all levels within Industrial Technologies sector and with suppliers, etc.
• Ability to work in matrix organization
