Quality Manager Job in Valencia 91355, California US

Semco Instruments, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our quality team.

 

Responsible for all segments of the quality assurance and control function, either directly or through subordinate supervisors.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

1.     Creates, plans, implements, and maintains various quality standards including ISO9001, AS9100C, SIRA, NADCAP, DLA, EASA, IPC and FAA requirements for repair stations.

 

2.     Interfaces with customers and represents the company on all quality matters. Ensures QMS system in compliance with aerospace quality standards and regulatory requirements.

 

3.     Establish techniques and procedures for inspecting and testing company products and for conducting research on product defects in order to recommend modifications in products and/or quality standards on the basis of this research and of analysis of customer complaints.

 

4.     Develops, applies and maintains quality requirements for processing components and other materials into finished goods and products.  Designs and implements methods and procedures for testing and inspecting the quality level of products and production equipment. Reviews supporting manufacturing documentation to ensure it contains the necessary criteria and provisions to permit effective inspection and testing of materials.  Initiates corrective action for procedural, product or process deficiencies. Analyzes reports and returned products, and recommends corrective action.

 

5.     Lead, mentor, and develop internal staff.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Demonstrated ability in change management, quality audits, and overall development of QMS. 

 

Previous experience in quality management.

 

Highly motivated individual that requires minimal supervision.

 

Excellent communication skills.

 

Excellent interpersonal and team skills; ability to communicate, negotiate, influence, and thrive in a team environment.

 

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
