Quality Representative (1390)
Location: Canton, MS 39046
Description
- Verbal communications daily with customer SQE.
- Entering and tracking customer data to evaluate PPM and establish countermeasures to reduce rejects.
- Communicate internally with department supervisors and managers with customer concerns and issues.
- Work with quality issues from CKNA, Tier 2 Suppliers and customers.
- Responsible for Corrective Action Activity.
- STF Member- has responsibility to provide input into APQP Activities/Control Plans.
- Responsibility for development/preparation/approval of supplier PPAP packages.
- Customer supplier interaction as needed regarding quality and corrective action.
- Perform audits and attend miscellaneous meetings and scheduled training.
- Communicates frequently with internal and external contacts on various issues.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Intermediate to advanced experience (beyond basic data entry) working with computer applications such as Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, PowerPoint, and other presentation applications and/or software.
Under general supervision, plan and direct activities concerned with Development, Application and Maintenance of Quality Standards for Company Processes, Materials and Products by ensuring suppliers meet requirements to deliver the quantities and quality of product to meet the needs of manufacturing.
Required Experience
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Have one to two years vocational technical training or an Associate’s Degree in related discipline with up to two years experience in related area of responsibility.

- Specialized skill training/certification may be required.
- Have experience working with integrated computer programs and/or applications.
- Have strong communication, administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs.
- Be able to pass all background checks and pre-employment tests, including any required drug test.
