Quality Specialist Req #110403 Salary: $79,000 - $119,000 Duties and Responsibilities: The Quality Specialist (Material Receipt) is responsible for: · Performing inspections, examinations and testing associated with the receipt and dedication of purchased material. · Reviewing and approving inspection, examination and testing procedures (ANSI Level II and III only). · Providing oversight capability for the receipt inspection office and provide technical support to Stores management. · Developing, maintaining and administering inspection, examination and testing training (ANSI Level III only). · Qualifying new and existing ANSI Level 1 2 inspectors (ANSI Level III Only). · Performing warehousing functions as required Required Qualifications: · Qualified/Certified ANSI Level I, II or III* · Knowledge of inventory management practices and tools. · Knowledge of Inventory and Material Control software systems. · Minimum of 4 years of established performance as an ANSI Level 2 inspector in the materials discipline or 6 years related maintenance or inspection activity.* · Applied MRO materials experience by discipline, craft and manufacturer. · Knowledge of nuclear and other regulatory quality requirements. · Ability to effectively work and communicate with others in the organization including good oral and written communication skills. Desired Qualifications: · Associates Degree in related subject matter. · 10 years of relevant nuclear experience in quality, warehousing, accounting, materials, contracts, maintenance, project management and engineering. · ANSI Level 2 or 3 Inspector.
