Quality System Technician
The person in this position will perform a variety of duties to ensure plant compliance with quality system requirements. He or she will also assist the Quality Lab Technicians in the support of the operation and execution of daily activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
?Perform Process Monitoring Inspections to verify compliance to product and process control plans
?Assist in timely completion of monthly GMP inspections
?Participate in internal audits of quality processes
?Manage corrective action database for audits
?Tag disposition all hold material in accordance with MRB directives
?Audit and improve plant sanitation program
?Assist in preparation for 3rd party and customer audits
?Work over time to cover personnel time off when needed
?Participate in root cause analysis of problems that relate to quality system deficiencies
?Support document control program
?Other related duties as assigned
?Minimum H.S. Diploma or equivalent
?ASQ Certified Quality Auditor ? preferred
?Quality Department or Quality Laboratory environment experience preferred
?Fres-co QA Lab Technician certification preferred, or the ability/willingness to gain certification
?Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook; Syteline, Shop Floor software experience desirable
