Quality Systems Analyst - Principal

1. Creates, develops, evaluates, guides and/or conducts studies or pilots that effectively develop and/or apply new elements or customer specific requirements to the quality management system. Serve as representative, on both the Quality Management System Team and assigned area(s) to ensure compliance to new or current quality system requirements. 2. Analyzes, interprets and applies quality system requirements to obtain and maintain customer and registrar approval of our quality system. This requires quality system expertise, business knowledge and the ability to interpret and communicate customer needs throughout relevant areas of the business and to obtain agreement in the business to meet these needs. 3. Assures satisfactory completion of corrective actions for customer problems. Leads or facilitates large complex cross-functional teams to ensure effective, timely completion a written report and/or development of a presentation to the customer on-site or at their plant to maintain preferred supplier status, at a reasonable cost. 4. Performs quality system and performance analysis to focus quality efforts in the business on those things that directly contribute to meeting business goals and objectives. Analyzing and reporting of manufacturing information such as yield, cost of quality, complaints, ICAR's, etc. to aid in the determination of where to best apply resources for improvement of business results and to satisfy customers. 5. Utilizes correct application of statistical techniques, problem-solving, and other tools of quality (such as control plans, FMEA's, flow charts, graphical analysis, capability analysis, regression analysis, etc.). Maintenance of technical expertise in the field of quality such as the ASQ Certified Quality Auditor or Engineer designation. Interpret and analyze developments on an on-going basis, in order to bring forward proposals for enhancement of ASB tools, systems, or processes. Lead the business in various applications of quality system principles such, as APQP. 6. Conducts quality system auditing and verification of corrective actions, either internally or at supplier facilitates. Uses auditing skills, up to date knowledge of primary quality system standards, lead assessor training, and lead assessor planning and control of audit teams, timely reporting of findings understanding of key control characteristics in the business. Perform consulting activities by suggesting possible solutions to ensure compliance to stated requirements. 7. Initiates, leads, participate in and complete assigned complex projects across the business in such a way as to maximize benefits, sustain improvement and institutionalize the results. Minimum Requirements: Associates Degree in Technical field with Specific knowledge of Quality Systems, industry knowledge and 15 years of related experience. Preferred Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Business or Technical field with specific knowledge of Quality Systems, industry knowledge and 7 years of related experience. Strong verbal, written and interactive (team leadership) skills. Proven ability to interface and resolve issues within all levels of organization
