Quality Technician II
This position as a 3rd shift Quality Technician II requires product release work in a laboratory under a cGMP environment. The candidate should have strong data review experience and computer skills. To learn more about EMD Millipore's Jaffrey, NH facility please visit www.millipore.com/jaffrey.
- Performs a variety of testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostic tasks to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Performs critical to quality in process testing as well as final product release testing
- Works with quality assurance engineers and manufacturing personnel to ensure effective inspection and testing procedures are implemented and maintained
- Assists in the development of production standards to meet quality specifications and may recommend procedural changes
- Maintains the lab in audit-ready and cGMP compliant manner at all times
- Shares responsibility for lab equipment maintenance, housekeeping and other lab support functions
- May provide guidance to junior technicians
- Must be able to work 3rd shift
- H.S. Diploma required
- Requires at least 1-3 years related experience
- Quality Control and cGMP experience
- Demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Must be willing and able to work in a fast paced, multi-disciplinary team environment
- Ability to read and follow SOPs
- Ability to read and interpret technical data
- Ability to work in office and laboratory environment
- Lifting up to 25 lbs may be required
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks including frequent hand to finger manipulations
