Quality Technologist / QA - Food
Our Client is a fast paced food manufacturer who are experiencing a period of unprecedented growth. In line with this they are now seeking a QA Technologist for their Greater Manchester facility.
You will be responsible for the creation and completion of all relevant Quality Assurance documentation and specifications as required by both the factory and external customers with regards to raw materials . You will work closely with production staff who do their own Quality Assurance to ensure standards are being adhered to and you will offer troubleshooting assistance where required.
To be successful in this role as Food Quality Technologist / Quality Auditor you must possess a food related qualification and possess a good basic technical/quality knowledge. You will have experience of working within a quality function within a fast paced food manufacturer and will have gained an understanding of BRC standards. You must be very methodical in approach as accuracy is paramount and you should possess a critical eye with exceptional attention to detail. Most important is a passionate approach to quality and driving quality forward.
Experience of working within a meat processing / manufacturing environment would be advantageous, however all food industry sectors will be considered.
