Quality/Pay for Performance RN Analyst – Preferred Primary Care Physicians, one of Pittsburgh’s largest private physician groups, is seeking a full time Quality/Pay for Performance Nurse Analyst for their Central location in Greentree, PA. Successful candidate will work with Care Management Director in development, implementation, and oversight of clinical quality initiatives. Duties will include supporting quality initiatives such as pay-for-performance, demonstration projects, patient satisfaction, and accreditation. Computer skills are critical and experience with electronic health records a plus. Organizational skills ability to work independently necessary. Current PA RN license required. Familiarity with Regulatory agencies and health care quality improvement programs required. Local travel between physician offices possible. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Support multiple quality initiatives such as pay-for-performance, demonstration projects, patient satisfaction, and accreditation.
· Monitor clinical performance according to established measures to ensure compliance
· Coordinate development and implementation of quality improvement plans
· Assist all physicians and practices in terms of their individual quality measures
· Monitor data to ensure effectiveness of quality programs
· Work closely with Physician quality champions, Care Management Director, and informatics department, to achieve quality objectives
· Prepare, interpret, and distribute clinical performance data and develop improvement plans
· Perform audits or special reviews as requested by leadership for specific quality issues such as medical necessity or documentation
· Monitor program effectiveness at the point of care (e.g. physician offices) and provide feedback and training to office staff and physicians
· Monitor other external programs to assure optimal reimbursement
· Assist with arrangement of speakers or other informative programs for monthly Physician QI meeting.
· Assist with arrangement for CEU credits for QI meetings when applicable
