We are seeking an exceptional quant trader to join our Asian trading team.
Responsibilities
- Create and develop high performance, algorithmic trading models using math and statistics.
- Analyze the performance of algorithmic trading models using math and statistics.
- Give and receive qualitative feedback from traders in terms to enhance or create new models.
- Execute and use trading models on major electronic exchanges to trade profitably.
Key Skills/Attributes
- Experience manipulating and maintaining large data sets.
- Proficient in at least one of the following programming languages (Python, Java, C++).
- Experience implementing machine learning techniques, time series analysis, digital signal process, statistics, or applied mathematics in a commercial setting.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a self-directed environment.
- Understanding of Options and Futures modeling.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Degree in Math, Physical Sciences, Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.5/5.0.
- Previous internship/work experience in financial services or quantitative trading firm.
- Proven coursework in probability, statistics and programming.
