Quant Trader – Electronic FX – Hedge fund

 

A leading systematic FX hedge fund is looking to build a electronic FX market making desk and looking for an experienced Electronic/Automated FX quant analyst to assist them in building/running the desk.

You should have extensive knowledge of optimal execution strategies in FX markets and be able to create and implement eFX hedging and execution strategies.

 

Applicants should have experience working at a senior level in a sell side firm with the following responsibilities:-

 

-          Electronic market making for FX spot desk – development and analysis of pricing models and strategies.

-          Creation of pricing, risk management and execution strategies.

-          Developing strategies to trade in dark pools and discover liquidity patterns across multiple venues.

-          Carrying out detailed statistical analysis on client flow and ensure pricing is reflective on the quality of the flow

-          Execution strategies: order placement, optimal risk control

-          Ensure positions in the eBook are appropriate to liquidity in addition to intervening to generate alpha /reduce market impact

-          Algorithmic trading strategies to enable client execution of bulk Spot and Forward orders

 

 

You will have opportunity to be involved in the development of new FX products (pricing and execution) and Develop analytics for real time risk system for FX Forward traders.

The ideal candidate will be working within an Electronic FX trading business and also have quantitative expertise is in the area of signal processing, dynamic programming, optimization, simulation, machine learning and game theory.
