Under the direction of the Central Analytics Manager, supports quantitative and strategic analysis through Excel model building and Power Point presentation creation to support initiatives under the IT Ops Transformation Program. Particular focus on quantitatively analyzing bespoke research or available data sets quickly and accurately to provide a solution for the requirements of the various business units.
- Improves, creates, and maintains high-end financial and operational models in support of the solutioning of the IT Ops Transformation initiatives.
- Researches and resolves simple and complex issues
- Analyzes current processes and recommends process improvements
- Participates in concept design sessions and provides quantitative solutions to complex data sets
- Responsible for all phases of modeling from concept design, logic development, and output presentation
- Bachelor degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering required from top school
- At least 2-4 years of investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance experience
- Extensive experience in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and other quantitative and strategic analyses
- Advanced MS Excel skills are required for this position. Candidate must be an MS Excel power user with advanced financial modeling skills and spreadsheet management abilities. Must be able to organize and manipulate large volumes of data as well as build and use advanced macros/pivot tables/v- and h-lookups, etc.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Must be able to operate effectively in a challenging, dynamic environment and work well in teams
- Manage multiple work streams and projects through to completion, often under tight deadlines. Attention to detail and the ability to consistently generate a high quality work product is a must for this position.
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated individual who enjoys undertaking challenges and can assimilate quickly in ambiguous environments
