Core Responsibilities:
- Working with product managers, perform focussed research tasks designed to meet client challenges.
- Building prototype stochastic models and calibration techniques to assess the suitability of new modelling solutions.
- Actively working with the software team to deliver model implementations, including providing model specifications, performing testing and signing-off model output as well as contributing to the improvement of working methods and collaboration.
- Effectively communicating developments internally and to our client base, through written work, presentations and training events.
- Providing technical support to clients.

Core Requirements:
- The candidate will have a good first degree and PhD in mathematics, statistics or other discipline with a strong mathematical content (e.g. physics, engineering).
- Experience as a quantitative analyst within an investment bank, asset manager, insurance company or consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of option pricing theory, stochastic calculus and Monte Carlo methods.
- An understanding of relevant financial markets and instruments.
- Strong coding skills in C#/C++ and experience of Excel/VBA.
- Capable of communicating complex technical ideas to clients and colleagues with varied levels of technical knowledge.
