Quantitative Business Analyst – Equity Derivatives Risk
Key Responsibilities:
- To perform functional and business analysis on Risk projects significant enhancement to the core systems within the Risk platform (as well as working with many other applications in the Risk and PL space)
- Obtain, analyse and document user requirements for intraday and end of day, risk and PL calculation and reporting. Working with Programme, Project Managers and Developers to ensure the requirements are understood so that enhancements to systems are implemented to requirements
- Defining required QA test plans, help co-ordinating UAT testing
- The role provides exposure to many aspects of the risk and PL process Analysis and documentation of business requirements and converting them into functional requirements
- Detailed analysis of functional flows, system processes across trade capture, market data, risk and downstream systems
- Definition and maintenance of QA test plans and assisting in UAT.
- Giving demonstrations and training on system usage to end-users.
Requirements:
- Track-record in a front office Business Analyst role working in either IT, Risk or front office.
- Front Office/Middle Office risk PL experience
- Equity Derivatives knowledge
- Numerate degree – ideally Masters of PhD level from a top University
