Quantitative Developer & Research Analyst
WHO WE ARE
We are a hedge fund with multi-strategies and registered with SFC. Responding to business expansion, we are currently seeking a highly-qualified Quantitative Developer Research Analyst to join our Technology team to support our front office quantitative investment strategy developments.
WHAT YOUR ROLE IS
- To work closely with front office quantitative strategy team primarily to design develop front-office quantitative trading and research software applications
- To design, develop and maintain quantitative strategy research data repository
- To process market macroeconomic and financial instrument data, and participate several quantitative research stages for front office quantitative strategy team
- To provide technical supports of both in-house developed and third-party trading applications to front office team
- To assist in developing post-trade applications for firm-wise operation efficiency improvement programs
WHO YOU ARE
- With very strong technical background: possessing 1 to 4 years of proven application development experiences of multi-threading or distributed systems in an object-oriented programming language (preferably Python/C#/VB.net, C++/Java will also be considered)
- Experienced in medium to large-scaled IT development projects
- Have some development experiences with R or MatLab
- Able to independently plan manage IT development projects and develop applications
- An undergraduate/postgraduate degree holder in computer science, computer engineering or related disciplines
It can be a plus if you:
- Have experiences in VBA, ActiveX/COM , DBMS/SQL and data repository technologies
- A holder of Certified Professional of IT (CPIT) or possess related IT qualifications
(Fresh graduates with exceptionally outstanding academic profile and at least one year of relevant work experience in IT developments will also be considered)
