Quantitative Investment Strategy (QIS) Structurer, Equity and Cross Asset Custom Indices Creation

We are working with a leading US investment bank who are looking to hire a mid – senior level equity focused structurer / marketer to play a lead role in the development of customized index products on their New York desk. They are a leading player within the US market in this space. The role will be focused on, though not limited to, the product development of new alpha and beta index/indices strategies and working directly with sales and clients establishing needs and pushing products. The successful candidate should have client facing experience coupled with a very technical understanding and approach. Candidates should have experience designing algorithmic index strategies at another market leading business, although the desk is on the equity side they are essentially cross-asset, therefore candidates with experience structuring fixed income, FX rates or inflation custom index’s will also be considered. Our client will consider candidates from either an investment banking or asset management background. The group benefit from state of the art systems and actively have the mandate to grow therefore it could be a great opportunity for anyone with a relevant background in the custom index space.

The group is looking to hire at VP to Director level. It will be a predominantly product development role therefore the successful candidate should be happy with a very ‘hands on’ position involving the production of tradable customized indices. However they should also expect to have client facing responsibilities driving the products and platform.
