Quantitative Research Analyst – High Frequency recruitment

Having built automated trading systems for a variety of markets, generating a substantial track record with excellent results, we are now looking to apply our technology to new markets, new instruments, and new applications.

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Quantitative Financial Research Analyst position. This role will be based in Santa Fe, NM and will be responsible for analyzing new information sources, developing new trading signals, developing optimization techniques, researching risk models, monitoring live trading and deploying trading models.

The successful candidate will work under the direction of an experienced team leader. The applicant must have a strong educational background with an advanced Masters level degree in math, statistics, physics, economics, engineering, finance, or related field. Most members of the Prediction Company research team have a Ph.D. in one of these fields. In addition, the applicant must have a minimum of two years of financial services work experience in statistical-arbitrage or a similar quantitative trading technique.

Basic Qualifications   

We require:

*A masters degree in math, statistics, physics, engineering, computer science or related mathematics or science graduate level degree.

*A minimum of 2+ years quantitative research analysis experience.

*A minimum of 2 years experience working for a leading financial services organization.

Preferred Qualifications

* A Ph.D level education in math, statistics, physics, engineering, computer science or related mathematics or science degree.

* Prior experience working with MATLAB.

* Prior experience working in statistical arbitrage (StatArb) investment trading environment
