Quantitative Technologist

With offices in Europe, US and Asia, Sunrise offers market leading broking services across equity, credit, hybrid and commodity derivative asset classes, convergence analytics and sales, trading and execution in cash equities.
We are looking to hire a quantitative technologist to work within the newly established equities division. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience working directly within a front office environment with solid experience across various asset classes. The mandate is highly technical and encompasses an individual with very strong quantitative and analytical skills, self-starter with strong understanding of global equities, credit, rates and FX markets. The candidate must have a proven history of working directly with .NET, C#, C++, SQL Server, ASP.NET, JavaScript for a tier 1 firm.
The hire is initially for 6 months.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, quantitative finance.
- Solid experience in C++, SQL Server, ASP.NET, JavaScript, R, .NET, C#
- Postgraduate degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Finance or a similar field.
- Familiarity with FactSet, Bloomberg, Reuters, Datastream.
