Quantitative Trader
We are an expanding European asset manager with 50 people across our Geneva head office and foreign locations. A critical part of our growth strategy is to leverage upon our strong proprietary Asset Allocation and research platform to provide investment solutions to a wide base of Institutional and Private Investors. In this respect, we are looking to hire a trader with quantitative background to help implementing investment strategies and executing transactions for the account of various funds and clients.
The ideal candidate will be an outstanding market and trading professional as well as have a strong quantitative background. He will be in charge of executing transactions in the market, as well as monitoring, enhancing and developing the existing suite of quantitative strategies and tools with the view to produce systematic alpha.
Responsibilities include:
- Best Execution of trades both directly in the market and via our online trading platform
- Monitoring, enhancing and developing the existing suite of quantitative strategies and related infrastructure tools
- Articulation of daily trade ideas to existing funds and clients based upon the Group internal advisory and research and in liaison with relevant Group professionals departments
- Constant market monitoring and relationship building within market participants community across buy and sell side, as well as quantitative research teams at various investment banks.
- Implementation of relevant internal processes in close co-operation with internal operations and support functions.
Profile requirement:
- Strong academic background, validated by a 1-3 year successful trading experience in a similar role, including liquid derivative instruments
- Experience across different asset classes would be a clear plus
- Ability to work independently as well as to integrate expertise into a broader process
- Commitment to deliver on time and with the highest quality standard
- Strong communication skills
