Quantitative Trading – C++/UNIX Developer – Vice President recruitment
A major European Investment Bank is looking to hire a Senior Vice President into their European Foreign Exchange Electronic Trading Team.
This is an opportunity for an outstanding candidate with exceptional analytical, quantitative and programming skills. The opportunity will involve working directly with the Head of Electronic Trading Technology. The role will involve programming in all aspects of electronic trading including but not limited to smart order routing and systematic internalisation.
Responsibilities will include full ownership of the development for one of more areas in the trading libraries. The successful candidate will also face off directly with the Front Office to draw up specifications for new projects.
To be considered for this role, you will have the following experience:
- 5 Years + programming in C++ within a UNIX environment.
- Demonstrated evidence of commitment in current work, i.e. loyalty to existing firms.
- Demonstrated evidence of enthusiasm for computer science, i.e. awards, publications, distinctions in academic papers.
- Appreciation of high quality code.
- Relevant experience in Foreign Exchange.
- A minimum of 2:1 in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering. MSc/MEng/DEA in Computer Science is a distinct advantage.
