As part of their continued expansion, our company has been instructed to identify exceptional juniors to join their global trading training program.
The program is a 24 month on the job, intensive training programme created to grow elite quantitative traders for the hedge fund’s global trading locations. Working alongside experienced researchers and traders, you will develop the experience and skills for the full life cycle of strategy development. This includes researching, developing, back-testing and implementing purely systematic / computer driven strategies across the foreign exchange, futures and equity markets globally.
Specifically, you will enhance and develop your mathematical technology skills and understanding of the markets. It is anticipated that successfully developing these skills and experience will build the foundations for an exceptional career as a quantitative trader within this leading global hedge fund.
Within 2-4 years, you can expect to be promoted to Vice-President within the firm and be running a research effort and or trading a suite of trading strategies from one of the firm’s major trading hubs globally.
Given the scale of the career, training and compensation opportunities; successful candidates will have an exceptional background.
Your profile:
• Exceptional background in Mathematics - demonstrated by truly exceptional academic achievement; top percentile grades, prizes, Olympiads etc.
• An advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in a highly quantitative and analytical discipline from a top 5 Vietnamese, USA or UK institution.
• Strong self-supporting programming skills in C++.
• Demonstrable interest in building a career as a quantitative trader – a motivation and interest in applying mathematical and scientific techniques to the trading and investment process.
