QUANTITIVE ANALYST recruitment

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
- Master degree in quantitative field such as economics, finance, business or statistics required; CFA and/or Ph.D. in relevant field preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience building quantitative stock selection models for use in investment products required; asset allocation modeling including alternatives and international experience a plus
- Must have experience with advanced econometric techniques and statistical/programming software packages such as Matlab, SAS and/or R
- Experience using financial databases including Bloomberg and FactSet and experience with risk software such as Northfield or Barra required;
- Solid understanding of economics and security analysis along with advanced math/statistics and Excel skills required
- Experience with mean-variance optimization, risk budgeting and Black-Litterman model is preferred
- Familiarity with academic and practitioner financial literature required;
MAJOR DUTIES:
- Primary responsibility is the development and enhancement of quantitative stock selection models for Asset Allocation Fund, which includes research of alpha and risk factors, model back-testing, portfolio construction, and risk/return attribution analysis.
- Work with Portfolio Managers and Quantitative Analysts to develop, build, back-test, and evaluate potential asset allocation models for Asset Allocation Fund.
- Document and present research results to quantitative team and portfolio managers.
- Monitor and keep up-to-date on academic and practitioner financial literature to identify new investment ideas and strategies.
- Perform miscellaneous quantitative analyses; and create and maintain models, tools, and reports; as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
HOURS/LOCATION:
- 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (overtime as required).
