Our client is urgently searching for two RAD developer to join their Front Office Fixed Income desk. The objective of the group is to move away from spreadsheet coding and focus more on web services, and using the spreadsheet as a UI using C# WPF.
As a result, the successful RAD developer will have solid Excel VBA experience (in terms of developing with VBA rather than performing formula development); good knowledge of web services and also strong experience of developing multithreaded C# WPF GUIs. It is important that the successful RAD developer has experience of working across the entire SDLC.
The team are very independent and are expected to talk directly with users to gather their requirements and turn these around into usable solutions very quickly. As such it is important to have good knowledge of the business including exposure to basic Fixed Income or Derivative products.
